Birth control to start my first ivf cycle, spotting today??

So at the end of this month I start my first IVF cycle, so a week ago I was started on birth control. Just recently today I noticed I’m spotting brown vaginal discharge??? Is this normal, has this happened to you? I left a message for my clinic but they probably won’t be able to call me back till tomorrow. Thanks guys!

Yes, this happened to me so I freaked out and called the office they said it was normal and made me take two pills instead of one and the spotting stopped a couple days later

Yea, totally normal. Your body thinks it’s time for a period so you’ll bleed a little.

I actually ended up with a large cyst which I’ve never had so was put on 3 more weeks of bc, next can is a week from tomorrow and I started spotting again this weekend. :/
