I'm Bi but is it weird that if I wanted a play partner I'm usually only into guys, but for a SO I would prefer it to be a girl?

I don’t think it’s weird. I’m bi too but the complete opposite. I sexually enjoy women but have no desire to be in a relationship with one. I always looked for long term with men and married a man.

I think it makes sense, at least you know that about yourself. 
My pansexual bestie doesn't know which gender he'd prefer to date, it seems to change- I think he's overthinking it.
Then again, I'm over here like: yeh i guess I'd fuck a cisgendered heterosexual man, but tbh, I don't think I ever want to date one again.
I want to date a significantly feminine man, a transwoman or genderqueer or nonbinary or a bisexual male.
I know I'm overcomplicating this stuff!
I think I just prefer a more feminine mate, or at least one that cares about social issues that I do.
My pan friend says dating one gender over the other is very different, female partners on average offer something male partners don't as much, and male partners offer other things. So having a preference makes sense to me.
