35 week progression

Last week I was checked and my cervix was closed and nothing was going on. I have been having really painful lightening pains and light-medium braxton hicks the last 3 weeks and vaginal fluid has greatly increased (doctor knows).

Today I had been checked again, cervix is open and soft but dr said thats normal cause of having previous births. I also am 50% effaced, at -1 station. Can someone just tell me what that means? Like am I "in labor" or what?

How many think ill make it to my induction date at 38 weeks? Just curious...

SideNote: This is my 5th pregnancy.

1st-stillborn at 41w2d. (January 2014)

2nd-born on his own at 38w5d. (January 2016)

3rd-born on his own 39w. (April 2017)

4th-miscarraige at 12 weeks. (December 2017)
