Need advice !!

I’ve been living with my bf and his mom for 5 years now, since we first started dating. My friend recently came to me with the idea of getting an apartment together and I said yes.

Anyone that I’ve talked to about it has been like “oh you and your bf aren’t working out?” “What about your boyfriend ?”

Me and my boyfriend are in a good place, at least I think so, and I think that me moving out may be a good thing. It’s not forced upon either one of us, it wasn’t any of our ideas. I just wanted to experience some of my twenties with my friend in an apartment together and make memories.

Not to mention the apartment is just a few streets away from the house I live in currently.

Have any of you lived with a partner and then moved out and continued the relationship? What are some things I should be wary of, if at all?

This is dumb that I even made this because I didn’t think there was anything to really worry about, but judging by everyone else’s reactions, I’m missing something.
