Baby item suggestions??

Question

Which car seat do you suggest for newborn?? I would prefer one I can connect to the stroller 
Also
Is a bassinet necessary?? Or can i use something else like a pack and play??

I got the maxi Cosi Zelia travel system and am in love so far. Easy to put together and break down and car seat and stroller has great reviews. I personally am opting for the arms reach co sleeper. I believe that a baby needs to have a safe, separate place to sleep outside of parents bed. But I like that he will be so close to allow for easy night feedings. I originally was going to use a pack and play but it’s huge and will mainly be kept in the living room so I don’t want to drag it back and forth. If you do choose a bassinet, look at the weight limit to see how long you can use it.

I’m not getting a bassinet. They use it for such a short period of time. I got a pack n play with a bassinet attachment, so it can be used for a few years.
I got a Graco SnugRide 35 Elite and a Graco Remix stroller.

Bassinet is not necessary. We're using a pack n play until he's big enough for his crib, and then we'll be able to use the pack n play when travel. 
As for a travel system, we got this one and have no complaints so far. We also haven't used it yet since baby isn't here yet Lol. But it's really easy to maneuver and take apart/fold down 👍 (ours is also a different print/pattern)
