Dumb question

I have electric basebord heaters in my apartment the bathroom and bedroom are controlled separately from my living room and kitchen when I have the living room kitchen one on along with the bedroom and bathroom the one in The living room/kitchen one gets warm then shuts off but the one in my bedroom/bathroom stays on and is warm is that normal for them to shut off? I'm just confused why my bedroom one stays on but the living room shuts off
