Baby’s first word late ?

Wonder when the actual first word came in for you mommas, my baby has been saying dada for months, but I don’t really count that as her first word, she’s 13 months and she tries to sing the alphabet but mainly just throws a few letters out there, and lately when I say “cheeeeese” it sounds like she repeats me with a “seeeeees” sound. But no actual words that I think she’s intentionally saying, is she behind or is this normal?

My pediatrician said it’s normal. My guy only says “mama”, but babbles nonstop so I’m not worried at all. According to my pediatrician, most kids don’t start really saying much until they’re around 2.

My daughters not saying anything, she babbles constantly but nothing that makes sense. She says mamama and dadada but that’s about it 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’d like her to come out with something soon but at the same time I don’t feel like she’s going to be non verbal because she is constantly babbling nonsense 😂

My son is only saying “dada” but sometimes his babbles will be actual works like “hi” and “yes” but it’s all on accident lol

All babies are different ♡ my baby kinda did everything a little slower but doctor says it's cuz he is always sick

My daughter can say mama, dada, ki-ki (kitty kitty), and bahbah (brother). But that’s about it.

My little girl aside from mama and papa she isn't saying anything else, I don't think of it as been late, more like she will speak when she's ready to, plus it's only a bit after 1 year old. She babble a lot and sing while at it, so for me is not a reason to be concerned just yet, is way too early ^~^

My little girl only says a couple of words like mama, papa, ielo (Spanish word for ice), peepee (poop), she says “ba” when she’s done eating as a way to say that it’s all gone or there’s no more, baba (water in Spanish), no, and si (yes in Spanish for when she wants something), mimi (when it’s bed time), and “tu” Spanish word for “you” other than that she just babbles and makes a bunch of noises  all the time lol it’s quite normal for them not to say much until about two years old 
I think what has helped my child learn some words is that I talk to her a lot, she’s basically my only real friend rn lmao so I am constantly talking to her in English and Spanish all the time, like if I’m cleaning or cooking or anything I literally tell her everything I am doing step by step and she looks like she’s listening, then she will babble some baby gibberish back to me and I’ll keep talking.

My kiddo isn’t saying anything other than babble (mama and dada but i don’t count those) Language will come, I’m not terribly worried about it
