Am I wrong for this?

I just want to hear someone else’s opinion... Am I wrong for keeping my daughter away from her dad? Our relationship was not the best. It involved all types of abuse and we had a lot of issues going on. Most of the time when he’s upset he takes his anger out on the baby by not wanting to take care of her. My daughter is 6 months and recently my daughter’s father was charged with sexual battery/sexual assault. He has an ankle monitor rn.. I feel like with him losing his job, struggling to pay rent, court coming up with a bail he haves to pay, and me finally leaving taking the baby away and not wanting anything to do with him.. He might be dangerous at the moment. He keeps hitting me up about the baby but i don’t want him near us and I don’t want him taking her.. am I wrong for that?
