Dramatic birth story

Dramatic birth story.. Born 19th October. Ahisa Mary. 8lbs. I really wanted a natural birth, perhaps in a pool but that didn't even come close. After being induced, as I was 2 weeks late, using prostin pills and oxytocin drip, I laboured for around 30 hours in the hospital and was prescribed pethodin, and an epidural (the pain was worse than I had imagined) and finally reaching full dilation. After an hour wait, I pushed for 2 hours. I was then examined again and told baby's head had moved and my only option was a c- section. Off I went to theatre and at 1:46am out came out girl, red, angry and screaming. I've been recovering in hospital ever since but think it may be time to go home now 3 days later. Our lovely girl.
