Was I maybe pregnant of a twin?

Hi lady’s,

With this pregnancy I had cramps and bleeding (only clear red blood) it scared me that I had a miscarriage so I called the midwife and she told me to get a ultrasound at that moment I wasn’t able to come right away so I had to wait for a week.

On that day they saw a beautiful baby on the right side but (see photo, on the photo it looks like both side are empty but that’s because the midwife moved it so that the baby is not visible) on the other side fluid. They told me it was a bleeding thing (hard to explain in English, I’m Dutch. But now I saw a post with picture that looks quite like the ultrasound. Could it be that the midwife didn’t tell me because she didn’t want to make me feel hurt and bad about a loss twin?

The one that growing good is also one week behind then my calculation (last period and the time i had sex)

P.S. I made this photo a tmi because I don’t want to make other women who lost a twin feel hurt.
