IUD 6 weeks after birth?

Question

I am 6 weeks PP and and looking to go on birth control. I would like something that does not interfere with breastfeeding. My husband was  conceived when his mom had an IUD, so I get nervous about it. 
Please share thoughts and experiences.

I had an IUD for two years and didn't get pregnant. Took it out and then I got pregnant. 
My mother had five kids. She got pregnant on a different kind of birth control with each kid.
Your body will react differently because not one person's body is alike. If you are concerned, talk with your doctor and make sure that an IUD will be best.

I had the Paragard for 6 years between my first and getting pregnant with my Sept baby. I got it again last week. So far so good.
