Is it actually weird or am I being weird

My fiancé has always loved the name Veronica. However, he dated a girl named Veronica and now wants to name our baby that if we have a girl. He said that he’s always like the name and that he wasn’t going to let the fact that he dated a girl with that name deter him from ever using it.... I however find it a bit strange and don’t want to use it.

If your boyfriend or fiancé or husband liked a name that happened to be an ex’s name, would you still be comfortable using it??
