Xmas/1st Bday gifts??

So people are asking what to get my son for his birthday and Christmas and I’m trying to be practical about it. My cousin has a grandson a little older than my son, so we get a lot of hand-me-down toys from her, so I’m trying to think of stuff to put on a wishlist. I still have his birth registry available, and that has the expansion parts of his crib to turn it into a toddler bed, and a few other things, but I am kind of at a loss! What ideas are you all giving people? I’m thinking of adding some developmental toys to the list, but there is so much crap out there, I don’t know where to start!! Any ideas would be so helpful!
