Trying to get pregnant

My husband and I are trying to conceive, however when we have sex it seems as though his semen falls out right away or when I use the bathroom. Is this normal or are we "losing sperm"? Also should I wait for a little while before using the bathroom? because it seems like the pressure pushes it out as well.

This is all new to us, neither one of us have ever TRIED to conceive before and we aren't positive if this is normal or if we are "doing something wrong"
