Peeing pre or post sex?

Am I like the only one who doesn't get a UTI from either peeing right before or right after sex? I see all these posts about making sure you pee right before you have sex or right after you have sex because it will cause a UTI. I haven't had a UTI in forever and I have sex 5-7times a week and I never pee right before sex and I usually have to pee directly after sex. Am I just a freak of nature? Does everyone have this UTI problem?

To prevent a uti you are supposed to pee AFTER sex to clear the tract of any bacteria.  Peeing before sex doesn’t matter. That’s why you haven’t had a UTI.....

I dont pee before or directly after. And Ive never had this issue either.  If I do have to pee, it’s usually like an hour if not more after sex.

I’ve never had a UTI (I’m 35). I may pee after sex just bc I have to go, but it’s not a habit for prevention.

It’s after not before...some women are just prone to UTI’s. Personally I urinate after because it just feels gross not to.

I've been having sex for 20 years and have never had a UTI from sex.
Before having my son I rarely peed before or after sex. Since having my son peeing before and after is a must because my bladder is not what it once was 😂

i almost never pee before but always have to pee right after.

I pee prior only because my anxiety, unfortunately, I ALWAYS feel like I have to pee, and always have a nervous belly 24/7. I don’t do it not to get a UTI, because peeing prior wouldn’t affect that. Peeing after is what’s important, which I also do. There has been the occasional, I’m too tired, at which I’ve been lucky not to get a UTI. They’re a rarity for me anyways, I’m more prone to yeast infections.

I think it’s both actually. You technically should pee before and after, from what I have been told.
