Alright so this may be a bit to much tmi, but I’m curious. I’m thinking about trying the menstrual cups, but here’s the catch, tampons seriously bother me now. Before I had my son 8 years ago I didn’t have an issue with them. When I gave birth to my son though, I tore and I tore bad. And it was more on the side of my vaginal canal than towards the back where it’s more common and they would have done an episiotomy normally. That being said since then I can’t stand to wear tampons. I don’t even wear them anymore unless I go swimming. For some reason they sit right on that scar and causes extreme discomfort. Also affects me during intercourse. Pads don’t bother me in any way shape or form other than my privates feel dry and itchy while I’m using them, and about a day after. I’m wanting to get away from that feeling.

So all this comes down to my questions.

1. Where does it sit, and how essentially? Like does it press out?

2. What brands do you recommend?

3. How do you size them exactly?

4. Do you think it would be worth me spending the money on it with the chance that it may be uncomfortable for me, and now I’m out however much it costs me, or I fall in love with it?
