How old can you take ur kid trick or treating?

So I see parents taking their newborn or couple months old baby trick or treating and how can they even eat the candy? Lmao the parents just want the candy to themselves lol How old is appropriate  to take them

My son was born Aug 31st and i take him trunk or treating. Uh hello? Best memories and to take photos. And obviously they don’t eat the candy.

Any age. It’s just for fun. When mine were baby’s I took them trick or treating because they looked adorable I didn’t even go to the front door we just strolled around

I’m taking my child next year and he’ll be one 🤷🏻‍♀️ this year I’m dressing him up and going out with my friend to take her son trick or treat. It’s for the memories and it’s not hurting anyone

I was 6 months old for my first Halloween and my parents didn’t take me out, but they dressed me up lol

My mom said when I was a year and a half, they took me to a few houses on our street but that was it. She said I tried to walk into someone else’s house 😂

Its about the memories not candy. Take your kid as early as you want. You only have a few years that they are young enough to do it.
