Head support?

We have a Graco snugride car seat for our baby girl that will be here in December. I was wondering if we should get one of the head support things. Or are these considered unsafe? Also we have a mamaroo that doesn’t have the infant insert and wondered if we should/could use the head support for that as well

If it doesn’t come with the car seat that means it wasn’t tested for car accidents. I wouldn’t add anything their heads gonna fall everywhere anyways.

I bought one of these because my LO just didn’t look snug enough in his seat. I totally see why they don’t add these in car seats. If he got the slightest bit hungry while we’re out and about he would smoosh his face up against it and try and eat it. Lol Needless to say, as soon as I got home I snatched it out and it’s been sitting in the closet ever since. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We have that exact one and it fits perfectly in our mamaroo, I also use it in my running stroller 🤷🏼‍♀️

Everyone else has said not to use it so I won’t repeat that haha. If they’re having issues with head flopping, use rolled up receiving blankets. That’s what we do. We use the newborn insert for our Mamaroo.

The product needs to come from the carseat’s company directly and be made to work with the exact seat to be considered safe.
