Recurring Uti’s

I have been having recurring uti’s since January. I get them at least twice a month. It’s starting to get in the way of my work life AND my social life. I just had to call in to my new job 30 mins before my shift because I contracted a spontaneous uti! And obviously I feel terrible. I feel like I can’t hold a regular job because sometimes the discomfort of a uti is too great. I’m thinking about putting in my 2 weeks and finding a work at home job for now, but I haven’t found any good remote jobs.

Ladies with experience in this issue, what did you do about work? I feel like I can’t hold a steady job.

EDIT: OKAY. I HAVE DONE A TON OF PREVENTIVE METHODS. LITERALLY EVERYTHING YOU GUYS ARE NAMING OFF. I’m not trying to be mean, but I have done extensive research and I know what ticks my body off. Condoms actually give me uti’s. And I’ve noticed that tampons can also trigger them so I wear them a lot less. Water is literally all I drink. I wipe front to back. And I’ve literally thrown away ALL of my thongs. I use baby wash because someone recommended it to me and it helped only a little. I wipe before and after sex. I take cranberry supplements. I use Uqora which is a drink mix that helps clean out your urinary tract. I try to NEVER hold in my pee. I go pee before and after sex because both were recommended to me. Please stop naming the obvious “solutions”. All I asked is for people who have gotten uti’s on a regular basis, let me know what you did in terms of your work life. If you’ve only had a couple uti’s in your lifetime PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ME ADVICE. THANK YOU :)

I am in and out of the doctors all of the time. I’m always on a different antibiotic. This is nothing new. I’m trying to get a referral to a specialist because the doctors can’t tell why I’m getting them so often. But the problem with that is that I have to be referred by a primary care doctor, but I haven’t see a primary in years. I have appointments set up. I’ve tried so many preventive methods and still nothing is working! I’m just waiting and hopefully the specialists will be able to give me some answers. But until then, I’m stuck treating my recurring uti’s.
