Baby played me

I started having pretty consecutive cramping coming for about an hour. Hubby freaked out and rushed me to the hospital because we were timing them about 3-4 minutes apart. When we got there, they got way more intense and I couldn’t breathe. This went on for about 3 hours and at one point they were 1-2 minutes apart. They went ahead and checked my cervix and I was completely closed!!! They kept monitoring me but because water hadn’t broken, there was nothing they could do. At almost 5 hours of them happening, they just stopped!!! I guess baby decided he wanted to bake even longer. I’m 35 weeks and 3 days, I’m kind of hoping these means he’s coming soon.
