Cheer drama

So now that football cheer has ended it is time for basketball and competition cheer season! I am on both teams but there is this girl who did not make the basketball/competition team but made football. Today she told us that she would not give back her uniform until she talked to the coach about doing basketball season. The rest of the team doesnt think it is fair that she can just walk into the team when she didnt make it in the first place but the coach is letting her on. I dont think it’s fair because there were other girls who didn’t make the b-ball and competition team but yet they can’t just walk on the team like she can. This girl would also complain about cheer during football and she didnt learn the football cheers. I’m not trying to be catty, I’m just really frustrated. Has anyone else experienced this?
