Halloween parties requiring trick or treaters to wear “non scary” costumes

I know that many churches around me require trick or treaters to wear non-scary costumes, but I received a flyer today for a party that requires non scary costumes.

It’s supposed to rain here so many people are participating in indoor parties like the one I received a flyer for.

I’m sure people bought their children costumes such as zombies, vampires, the classics, ya know?

Well those won’t be permitted inside of this indoor party. I can think of about 5 near me that have this same rule.

Obviously if it’s their party they can make the rules, but I personally think it will be a crappy party.

What are your thoughts?
