Treatment options for endo:

Ok I have 4 options and I’m just at a loss.

1. My third surgery (this would be an excision, and very extensive as it’s spread to my GI tract). It’s also not covered by my insurance, and with recovery being at least 5-7 days, I’d need care for my 1 year old and myself and I have no family here.

2. Orlissa. A new drug on the market for endo patients. It will dry up my breastmilk supply, as well as possibly make my depression/anxiety worse, and is accompanied with nausea/night sweats/hot flashes/mood swings. But it’s side effects are less severe than that of Lupron.

3. Lupron. Temporary menopause. Need I say more?

4. Get pregnant. Idk how I feel ab that. On the one hand, I want more kids and eventually a full hysterectomy. On the other hand, I like having just one rn as I’m in school full time. 2 that close together may not be the best for our family.

Any experience from y’all?
