Is 13 weeks too early for a gender reveal party?

I just got the genetic testing done that also tells us the gender and I am planning on doing a gender reveal in the next 3 weeks... my boyfriend thinks it’s too early but I don’t want to wait any longer than I have to because the wait is going to make me anxious. The whole point of testing for the gender was to do a gender reveal party early and he knew that 🤦🏼‍♀️

Do it! We r doing ours this Saturday and I will be 12 weeks 6 days we found out through blood panorama test it is more accurate than an ultrasound. And personally I do see why some people are saying to wait until you are farther along in case you lose the baby, but to me If that did happen( we all pray that is NOT the case) I would still want to have celebrated that life and let people share that with you so they could be there for you if that did happen. I've had a miscarriage and we didn't know the gender of that baby bc we didn't do the blood panorama test and I wish we did. Congrats!!! 🎊 do whatever you feel comfortable with 💗💙

I would personally wait until after the gender is confirmed at your second trimester anatomy scan. But you do you girlfriend! It’s your baby, so it’s your choice.

I say too early i would wait till about 22-24 weeks so you pass the viable stage in case anything happens. I’m not saying it will but that’s just my personal opinion. I’ve seen mommas do it early(including my cousin) and she ended up having a MMC at 16weeks. If you feel comfortable doing it though, then go for it. Good luck!

Yeah I'm doing mines next Friday. Granted I'll be 15 weeks but I see nothing wrong with doing it before the anxiety kick in! We were gonna do it the 17th but I said that's waaay too long from now lol. Do what makes your stress level at a minimal
