"Normal spit up"

We just took our 12 week old to the doctor yesterday for suspected acid reflux. We saw a doctor that wasn't his which I think was a mistake to begin with. He had ent appointment first for laryngomalacia. He has a moderate case of it he should grow out of. Doctor did say it often causes acid reflux. Doctor number 2 said since he is gaining weight fine he isn't worried about acid reflux. After ent he spit up like an ounce or more after eating. He just woke up screaming from nap after throwing this up, nearly 3 hours after eating....what do I do?! I dont want to wait until AFTER he had lost weight to figure it out...
