Weird question

Okay so I was supposed to start my birth control of day one of my period right and so a week or two before I had sex w a condom but at one point he wanted to feel what it was like without one so we did that for a lil and then he put another condom on and finished. We were paranoid and decided better safe than sorry so I took plan b and a week later I started my period at least I thought I did so I started my birth control but I only bled for like three days which is unusual for me. But I had already started my birth control so I wasn’t gunna stop taking it. So then we waited like 6 days for my birth control to work before we had unprotected sex. But my question is am I safe even if that wasn’t actually my period and I was just spotting from plan b?
