Are you afraid of labor?

People keep asking me if I'm scared to go into labor or the pain. Im honestly not but I am going in with an open mind.  How do you feel? Im down to 4-6 weeks left. How long do you have left?

So, not to freak anyone out, but with my first I wasn’t afraid. I read tons of books, had a good understanding of labor, and felt prepared (planing for an all natural birth).
With this second pregnancy I’m way more scared. I didn’t end up with my natural birth but I plan to try again this time around. But oh man, I can very clearly remember the pain of labor and I’m honestly scared about putting myself through that again. 😳

I’m in labor right now and honestly it isn’t near as bad as I thought it would be. I got the epidural and let’s just say it’s a God send. Nurses will definitely help you through it. It’s hard but try and relax and breathe.

I'm honestly more concern with breastfeeding, my first just couldn't latch properly at first and even with a nipple shield my nipples hurt so much & I think even bled a little, and getting use to breastfeeding is a longer process that labor so, no I'm not afraid and wasn't with my first either, obviously the pain will be there & I plan to go natural again and will be 38 weeks this Friday !

Im more nervous than afraid, i know my body is made for it, and my pain tolerances is average..and i know what to expect...but ive never felt it before and it makes me nervous

I'm kind of excited for it, yes I know it's going to hurt & all but they have stuff to help with that & after I will have my beautiful baby girl finally in my arms.

Im a weirdo and excited for it! It’s thrilling! My last birth I was induced and pretty easy. Just not knowing how and when I’ll go into labor this time makes me anxious though.

I am looking forward to labor, with my daughter it was such an amazing experience. However I am having twins this time and I do have some fear associated with possible complications for baby B. I will be taken of meds to stop contractions and bed rest in 9 days. If I don’t go into labor that week my doctor will induce my after the 20th. So only a few weeks or less left for me!

5 weeks left and I'm not afraid at all. I keep looking at it with positivity and as a runner, my biggest marathon yet. I started preparations at about 26 weeks with hypnobirthing practice, been doing yoga and meditation the entire time. My doula is right on board practicing labor techniques every day. People always try to give me shit for how I want to do this but I don't care. My body was made for it, millions of women have done it before me and only I know what my body can withstand! I had my first daughter without anything. I didn't even have time to get something if I wanted something. It wasn't all that bad. 
But this time around I dont feel as though my support is as strong and i have a million mixed feelings about this baby and this pregnancy. I love her and I cant wait til she's in my arms. I hope I can natural again. But im just not as confident as i was the first time around.
