I don’t know how I did it

Miranda

So yesterday around 4 am I woke up to go pee. Soon as I moved I felt liquid in my underwear. I’ve never peed myself and never had discharge like that. I went to the bathroom and noticed blood in my pee. I thought it was odd but decided to wait and see if it happens again. I went back and laid down and woke up at 7 am. I was having contractions and still bleeding. I knew something wasn’t right. I decided to take a shower and I kept leaking fluids. I woke my husband and told him we have to go. We have already had 3 false alarms but decided this was different so we went in. Sure enough I was right and we were admitted. At 11 they finally started the fluids. At 1 I was told since I wasn’t dilating fast enough so we had to do pitocin. Soon after they have me the epidural and it was a God send. Well then it stopped working and contractions were so bad but the nurses and dr refused to listen for awhile. At 1am I was still in labor and eventually made it to a 9. The epidural wore off again and I couldn’t stand the pressure anymore. It took until about 4 for them to bring the anesthesiologist back. I was in so much pain I was screaming. Oh and I was still at a 9 and had no strength to push. I begged over and over to give me a c section. Nobody listened. 7 am new nurses and dr took over. The dr said let’s see what she is at in an hour and if nothing changes she will get a c section. Next thing I know I am pushing and delivering our baby girl. I have no clue how I even made it. I just wish I had the nurses and dr from this morning last night. Just isn’t right that it took almost 30 hours from the time my water broke to the time my baby girl was delivered. Now my baby is having complications that will be ok but makes me wonder if it was because of the stafff last night not listening to me.
