Is drinking wine safe in moderation?

Science... would say that there is no proof that a small amount of wine in extreme moderation will cause harm in a pregnancy. Many OBs will agree they have to say it will to just remain clear of liability in case someone goes overboard. 
Some OBs actually suggest dark beer in the 3rd trimester! Polls have shown older moms are likelier to partake in the occasional drink and many OBs will indulge in a glass here and there in their own pregnancy. And some agree that forcing a woman into a tiny glass box out of paranoia is bad for her health. 
Look into some independent studies on it and make an informed decision for yourself. I personally haven’t had a big taste for it but towards the end may have a beer every now and again to help my milk. (Gotta research the right way to do it myself though)

I'm 25 weeks and drink a glass of wine every week. My midwife said it was okay and even the books I've read on pregnancy said a glass of wine was ok. There is a difference between a small glass of wine and taking shots or drinking margaritas.

I personally don't drink when pregnant, but I know multiple people who have. The doctor I worked for actually had a glass of wine at least once a week when she was pregnant.

No amount is safe. If people can’t stop drinking while carrying their baby then good luck to them.

I feel that the health of my baby is obviously more important than me enjoying some drinks. No idea why anyone would risk it.
