Help!

I joined my husband’s church about a year before we got married. He has attended this church with his mom and brother since the age of two. For me coming from a large church I enjoyed moving to an intimate congregation. However, now that we have started our own family not only have my spiritual needs shifted ( I.e young couples ministry) but with my husband being at this church and it’s church members I have had a few run ins with the members feeling entitled to take off with our child. At this point I’m just ready to find a new church. My husband and I have had this conversation before but it has gone nowhere. I’m assuming because in the past when he expressed to his mom about wanting to attend another church she did not approve. What are you all thought?
