Causes for the flashing lights??

Im currently 33+2 and have noticed that i have begun seeing these flashing balls of lights go across my vision. This usually only happens for about 20 seconds before i notice they disappear. Could this be a sign of preeclampsia? My blood pressure is always actually really low and this is my first pregnancy so idk if seeing the lights at all would be a problem or since i see them for a just a second i should be okay?

I've been getting them randomly too... never really thought much of it because I always felt fine when it was happening

It can be a sign of a migraine,  high BP or preeclampsia. Let your doctor know so they can decide if they want to run any tests.

I get them occasionally (low BP too). Mentioned I got dark spots when I was at the zoo and she said it's generally caused by dip in BP, low blood sugar or dehydration. Personally, I just had snacked so nit wasn't sugar, most likely dehydration or bp dip. She said the body wants to pump blood to the brain, it's harder to do when you stand for a long time, so essentially your body wants you to lay down (black out) to make it easier.
