Sex postpartum..?

Im a month postpartum and me and my husband decided to try and have sex the other day and I’ve been nervous than and since than bc i dont know if i still have my stitches i had few tears and they were minor. How can i tell if i still have stitches and is it safe for us to have sex?

You wait until you’re cleared by your doctor at your postpartum check up

You can feel for them. I had sex at 3 weeks pp last time. Bleeding stopped, suture was gone so we did it.

I know a few ppl who had sex before their appointment and my docs didn’t say anything against it so i figured it was fine. Nice to known  im not alone thanks
