When is toy clean up time?

I personally can not stand a cluttered house so anywhere from 2-3x through out the day and then before bed time.
When my mom watches my son I come back to a huge mess and I can’t stand it 😩

I’m OCD so it’s multiple times a day. I also enforce the putting toys away before getting a new one out (clearly for older kiddos). My youngest is 1 so I just have her help me. My 5 year old has known for over 2 years to automatically clean up before she gets something new out.

I clean before nap and before bed. However I purposely don’t have a ton of toys because I don’t want a ton of toys to clean up. She mostly plays with her baby dolls and a toy stroller all day. She has other things but hardly plays with them. I plan to pack up a lot of things before Christmas because I’m sure she will get a bunch of new stuff.

With my toddler we put all of our toys away before bed time and he helps, it's part of our night time routine.

We usually put small toys away while our daughter is napping and then get them back out for her when she gets up. Bigger ones get put away after we put her down for bed at night

My 2 gear old can not take out a new toy unless all others are put away. And we go through and pick up anything that was missed before nap and bed time. We have a 1000 sq foot space and i HATE clutter especially kid toy clutter!+!

Our toddler (17 months) picks up as she goes. If she's done with a puzzle, it gets put away before taking out a new one. Same with any other toy when she's done playing with it.

I put them away before bed because otherwise I’m just cleaning them up all day I put them away he will get it right back out in 5 mins

We clean up right before lunch and right before bed time. We pick up most things throughout the day too but those are our major pick ups

A few times a day, whenever it gets to the point where I feel he can be visually overwhelmed and not able to just stick to one toy. Or when it’s just a trip-and-fall hazard. He helps throughout the day but at bedtime I’m kind of serious about him only getting in “coming down” mode so I don’t let him get stimulated, and I’ll go do it myself.

I’ve stopped doing that now that my daughter is 19 months and hell on wheels. They get picked up one time before bath time and she helps me do it lol
