So for the past couple weeks when I pee my pee is always dark in color no matter how much water or fluids I drink. I passed this off for a while figuring it’s my body retaining the water and that’s why I’m swelling so much, but for the past like 4-5 days I have developed this severe itchiness everywhere on my body. Now there is no rash and this itch is like one you can’t scratch it never seems to go away and is literally everywhere on my body. I googled itchiness in late pregnancy (36 weeks tomorrow) and it came up with something called Cholestasis.......looking a bit further into this it can cause some complications with baby or possible still birth so the usually induce you around 37 weeks.....I called my doctor and I have my routine appointment but this is making me so anxious I don’t know what to do. Any mamas out there that have had Cholestasis and or similar symptoms and it was something else?? Any help or information would be helpful!
