Removed my mirena out today!

ive had my mirena for a little over a year almost 2 years and its been such a pain i got a new doctor and he removed my iud today. He prescribed me to be on birth control pills once i start my period.... I wasn’t expecting to get it removed since it was a new doctor and I thought they would of scheduled to do it another day. But my birthday was November 3rd and last night me and my man had sex last night since I got drunk Saturday night had all my friends over and he did bust in me we have sex a lot and I’m not too sure if I should be worried or not now that i got my iud removed and cant start my birth control pills until I get my period which isnt due for a little over a week.
