Yes but I don’t recommend monistat especially if you are really in that much agony. Imagine the burning 10x worse and that’s monistat. IF it works, I just got over one that was so fucking bad it took a full week before it went away. And that was with diflucan, the pill the doctor gives you for it. I was on really strong antibiotics and my poor vagina felt like it was just gonna fall off and out, the bitch was done. 
If you have no health insurance, I really recommend the offbrand of monistat. Doesn’t burn near as badly, it’s not as expensive and works just as well. If it doesn’t go away after that, you just have to see a doctor.  I’m sorry your vagina hurts and my thoughts are with you because that shit sucks so bad.

It depends. Go see your doctor if you feel like that! I was diagnosed with yeast infection after a Pap smear, but had no serious symptoms! So it depends.
