Yes you’ll be rocking baby to sleep pretty often when they’re tiny. It calms them down a ton bc it’s similar to the feeling of when you’d walk around and sway them to sleep while pregnant.

I didn't buy a rocking chair, but I did get a chair from Ikea in which you can rock yourself some and is the one I nurse my baby everyday, is very practical and comfortable since you need good support when nursing, plus my breastfeeding pillow that I can't live without it anymore hahaha
