“It’s all in God’s timing.” 🤷🏼‍♀️🙄

Anybody else hearing this a lot?

I believe in God, and I believe that a developing baby is a miracle, so I’m not completely opposed to this comment. BUT, why do people think that’s a comforting phrase to say to someone suffering infertility or pregnancy loss?!

I‘ve had two “unexplained” miscarriages. When tests came back normal, my friends said “Oh, that’s good! So it must just be a God’s timing thing. Maybe He wants you and your husband to work more on x, y, or z before becoming parents.”
