Possible miscarriage?

I am currently on the pill so do not have any periods, however yesterday morning I woke up with extremely bad cramps/pain in both my stomach and back and was bleeding quite a bit. I put it past me and just put a tampon in thinking it was just a random period. I then later took it out and found what looked like a blood clot but then the more I looked at it, I found it looking a bit more like an early miscarriage so am starting to panic as I wasn’t aware I was pregnant. I took a photo so I’m sorry if it is tmi, but I thought it’s easier to understand if you see it rather than my description. Thanks so much and hopefully somebody can help!
