FIRST TIME ever taking an ovulation test!! Help!

Hey everyone!

This is my first time taking an ovulation test. Clearly this is negative. This is my first month trying so I am very unsure of my body since I've been on birth control for 3 years. Does this mean I've missed my ovulation or it's still coming? The app says it's not until tomorrow but I know that can be off. Should I retest tonight or tomorrow?
