Am I the only one not getting a growth scan?!

My last ultrasound was at 18 weeks. Im measuring 4.5 weeks ahead based on fundal height yet my doctor won’t do a scan. My last baby was just shy of 10 pounds born at 38 weeks. Im worries this one is going to be even bigger.

I got my last scan at 20 weeks, was a anatomy scan and my last one...in most cases docs wont do another unless there is growth issues later on...so if ypy dont get one, things are good for the most part :) 
Im 37 weeks now and i want to see him so bad too hehehe i wanna see what he actually.looks like...but im saving my.money for the baby so not investing in 3d scan..so itll be a fun cute suprise 😃

My midwifes won’t do another scan after 20 weeks unless they think there’s issues :( 
I am a little jealous seeing everyone taking about the size of their babies at this point because I have no idea other than fundal height!

Normally 20 weeks is the last one unless there’s a problem.  I’m getting one extra ultrasound at 37 weeks.  It’s what my OB does if you’re older than 35.

Well, last week I found out that I have "borderline" gestational diabetes, never had it before and I now get a growth scan every month. He was 3lbs yesterday at 28+4.... Tech said my Dr will go over actual measurements with me in a few days at my appointment but everything was fine... with my first two I only got anatomy scan with my third last year I got a growth scan around 5 months and the day they decided to induce because Dr said he was afraid if he waited baby would be over 9lbs... 😒

I’m almost 32 weeks and my last scan was 18. As much as I’m curious to see babe, there’s also not enough research on the safety of ultrasounds, so I’m content to wait it out for now! 😬 However I’m surprised that with you measuring so far ahead they haven’t suggested it. You can always request it - they do work for you after all 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had two growth scans because they were so worried about her. Mt iron deficiency and the infusions didn’t help things. They were thinking she’d be a NICU baby and be very sick but now she is growing great. There are some places out there that you can pay out of pocket for to see your baby. We have one near me that’s like 140 bucks

Honestly I would have preferred to only have the dating scan and anatomy scan. I’ve had about 12 ultrasounds this pregnancy. The more you have usually the worse your issues are.

The majority of women get a dating scan between 8 and 10 weeks based on lmp. Then again around 15 weeks if you opt in for special testing for down syndrome and other stuff, plus blood work. And then the last scan is at 20 weeks.
If your doctor was concerned they would have said something.
If you feel your doctor is off then you can always go and pay for an elective ultrasound  out of pocket.
But its normal for women to get only 1, 2, or 3 ultrasounds unless doctors are worried.

I had one at 20 weeks and 5 days and I’m getting another one on my next appointment witch is the 21st of this month I’ll be 28 weeks and 5 days

Am I the only one not getting a growth scan?!
