VBAC timeline?

Just wondering for any of you that had a VBAC, how far after or before your due date did your little one come?  I’m 40 weeks on Monday.  Doctors have me scheduled for c-section by Wednesday.  I really want a VBAC and I’m hope she comes before the c-section—- so I just wanted to hear about others.

Don’t let a doc bully you into a c-section! If you want a VB then do it. See if you can get induced instead. There isn’t a reason for a c-section if you don’t need it or it’s not an emergency situation. Have the birth you want. Good luck girl!!

If you don’t want a repeat CS, say NO!!! That’s YOUR decision, not there’s and they can’t force you to do anything you don’t want to do!
What was their reason for scheduling a csection?

I had a VBAC and my daughter came at 41 weeks 2 days. They wanted to induce me but I said NO!! Although she was only 5lbs 15oz. She was a healthy happy baby.

Ladies,  if your doctor is saying you “need” to go into labor by X weeks or it’s a repeat cs, your doctor is not at all practicing evidence-based medicine and is putting you through an unnecessary major surgery! That’s not evidence based and your doctor is not actually supportive of a VBAC! RUUNNNN! They also cannot make you have a csection or do anything you do not want to do! Policy is not the law!

My repeat c section is scheduled at 39 weeks 1 day on November 23rd. However I strongly feel I may as well do vbac, because my due date is November 29th. If I can make it that far then why not try to go for natural ? 🤔

my doctor told me the same thing...that if I dont go into labor on my own by 40 weeks that ill have to have a repeat csection. never even mentioned the possibility of inducing.

I'm told I have to go natural by 39 weeks or oh well. I hate it!!! I have until the 14th
