Losing my v card

So me and my boyfriend have been together for a year and 2 months and we both still have our V cards are are talking about losing them to each other Friday I’ve been ready I just didn’t want to rush him and also we have been just so busy too busy to do anything but we will be home alone Friday and we might do it of course we have done sexual things just not sex is there anything I need to know before I do this and I’m so sure I’m ready and I want to do it with him I just hope it doesn’t change anything between us
