When did/will you get your first ultrasound?

I had my first appointment yesterday at 7w6d. All they did was a blood draw and urine sample. No quick pregnancy test, no ultrasound to confirm due date, no measurements, or anything. I would have appreciated an ultrasound to see if my due date is correct and to see if there's only one (twins run in my family). I'm just kind of agitated and upset. Stupid hormones 🙄

I’m getting an ultrasound at 7 weeks +2. They’re also gonna do blood work. But I go to kaiser if that makes a difference.

Both times I have not had my first ultrasound until closer to 12 weeks. The urine sample they did is probably what they used for a quick pregnancy test to confirm. I have noticed that if the pregnancy is going normally and you are cramping and are healthy they won't do one right away plus some don't do them in the obgyn office like mine doesn't I have to wait for my script and then call and schedule it elsewhere.

Had my first at 6 weeks 3 days ,currently 9wks 3 days. Getting another next week ,dr suggested we do them “often” to be sure everything is ok due to previous miscarriages and a molar before this one.

I don’t know if US is different to UK but I see so many on here having really early scans but over here in the UK you don’t usually get one until 12 weeks. Mines booked for 12+5!

With my first I did not get one until 12/13 weeks. I have a different office this time and they do one at 8 weeks.

I just had my first ultrasound today at 8w 1d... baby measured 8w 3d. I won’t have another until the anatomy scan at 20w (unless we decide to do the genetic scan between 11w and 13w). Haven’t decided yet if we want to find out the gender...

I got one 5 weeks 6 weeks and next week 10 weeks

I tested positive at home on September 28, went to the clinic on October 1 and had my pregnancy confirmed. I didn’t have my first appointment with an OB until October 30! They did a urine sample (they said they will do this EVERY time I have an appt.) blood work, went over a bunch of general info and measured baby/listened to the heartbeat.
