Vasoepididymostomy

Well... my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year and a half. After many tests, we found out that a high school wrestling injury left him completely sterile. This week, he underwent surgery at the Cleveland Clinic with some of the top male infertility surgeons in the world. Dang- this is some traumatizing stuff. They found that his epididymis on both sides were basically completely scar tissue. So they attached his vas to basically the head of his epididymis. Praying this will let us conceive naturally 🙏🙏🙏 they were able to capture some sperm that we.d be able to use for IVF if the sperm can't swim due to not being mature enough. We can start trying again in a month.

Has anyone had a similar surgery ?? Any tips or recommendations?? Thank you!!!
