How much breast milk per feeding?

I'm pumping & leaving my 12 week old for the evening with my in laws. He's taken a bottle before but I've never been away for multiple feedings. He always nurses so im not sure how many ounces per feeding he gets! Any advice?

It’s hard to say bc babies are more efficient than a pump, so the amount you pump may be different than be actually consumes when nursing. Maybe try a bottle with 4 oz and see how much he drinks? Or 5 if you suspect he drinks more. When I have left my son with parents, I set up the bottles with an ounce more than I think he drinks to make sure he has enough. My baby is 16 weeks and drinks between 3 or 4 ounces every 2-3 hours. EBF. Good luck!

This information is from kellymom.com; I use the website a ton for questions about breastfeeding. A 3 oz - 4 oz bottle of expressed milk should be PLENTY for a breastfed baby!
