When to move baby in his own room?

When should I move my son into his own room? I wake up just about every time he makes a sound. I’m ready to sleep a little better.

I believe the best time is when YOU are ready. Mine has been sleeping in his crib in his own room since the day he came home from the hospital. He’s now 3.5 months old and sleeps 8-10 hours straight each night. I know every baby and situation is different, but I can tell you it’s been great for all of us.

I moved mine at 10 weeks for the same reason

As with everything in parenting, whatever you are comfortable with. I moved my little girl to her room after she started squirming in her sleep. I felt like she would be safer in her crib. Plus she was sleeping 6 hours at a time so it felt like time

It’s up to you, the guidelines say 6mos is best but is what you’re comfortable with. My baby sleeps in a pack n play in my room for 10hrs at night and it’s awesome however her brothers are starting to wake her up in the mornings and i feel bad for her so I’m inclining to put her in her room. There’s a day bed in there so I’m sure I’ll end up in there when I’m anxious lol but I’m thinking after the holidays (she’ll be 5mos) we might try it.

When you are ready and comfortable. My first was in her crib in her own room at about 3 weeks and this one was about 8 weeks. I was the same where every little sound woke me up so we all slept better being in separate rooms.
