I was on depo- provera for about a year and got off about 6 months ago. And my boyfriend wants me to get on some kind of birth control because we don’t need to take a chance.. which I completely understand. However, he doesn’t really get my point. When I was on it (the shot) I was so miserable. I would randomly get dizzy throughout the day and headaches all the time. Like every other day almost and they weren’t small they were like migraines. Then, not to mention those damn mood swings. That was crazy and I felt like I couldn’t control it. And once I was off of the shot that has all gone away. So pretty much what I’m asking here is should I find a different kind of birth control or just keep trying to explain that I don’t want it ?
