Light periods

So for 11 years I had an iud. Recently my husband asked if I wanted another baby. I had it removed and got pregnant soon after but had a miscarriage at 8 weeks (blighted ovum). I used to always have heavy periods before I had my iud but after my iud was removed it barley last 2 days. Is this normal or should I talk to my doctor
