Pcos and breastfeeding?

I was diagnosed with pcos right before we got pregnant.  I am 31 weeks today and doing lots or reading and nesting, especially when I cant sleep. Last night I read that pcos  makes breastfeeding harder. Now I am freaking out. When I got pregnant with my daughter I hadn't been diagnosed with pcos yet. Shortly after my daughters birth I started to do the paleo diet, when I quit doing the diet I think I lost my supply. I am only now connecting the dots, and am just guessing.....  I want so desperately  to breastfeed longer then 3 months like last time. Has any other moms with pcos had luck breastfeeding? Any tips? Good articles? Feeling panicky and desperate

I have PCOS as well. I have been exclusively breast feeding my three week old daughter without any issues. She’s had no issues and I have been producing plenty of milk. I pump once a day in the mornings when my supply is up and typically get 8 oz. some days I’ll pump in the afternoon as well and usually get another 4-6 oz. I wouldn’t worry too much about the pcos.

I have PCOS and my milk dried up at about 10 weeks postpartum. I tried to increase but nothing worked. Hopefully you all have further success.

I was diagnosed with PCOS right before I got pregnant and haven’t had any issues with supply. If anything I have an over supply. I’ll be 4 weeks EBF on Thursday.
